His book examines the resilience of U.S. democracy\, and his talk will update the findings given the current state of affairs in the US under the Trump Administration.Dr. Weyland has conducted extensive field research across Europe and Latin America\, including Argentina\, Brazil\, Chile and Venezuela. His work explores democracy transitions\, authoritarianism\, fascism and populism and draws inspiration from cognitive psychology and historical analysis.
