P. E. Melin came to America from Sweden and taught in Hudiksvall High School. In 1875, he was offered a position teaching Greek and Hebrew at 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@ 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@.
He lived in East Hall, alongside many other professors. Melin did not stay long at 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@, though; he had economic problems due to trouble adjusting to life in America. He left 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@ after the 1877-1878 school year.
